Paul Avery has moved on to bigger and better things in his life and we wish him all the best of fortune. Lots has happened since I last posted here. Wow, have I fallen down on the job with this page. So, if you are seriously interested in this trade and making it your lifes vocation, give me a call. I'm not looking for someone who just wants a hobby or to dink around with tools and instruments, while they are trying to figure out what they want to do with their life. You must be able bodied, between the ages of 19 and 27 years of age and willing to seriously devote the time and energy needed to develop the skills required in this trade that will lead to a full time position with Oberloh Woodwind and Brass Works. If you or someone you know has an interest and is able to commit to the demands involved, this might be something to consider. The shop is starting to toy with the idea of bringing in two new apprentices. Steve and I have both had some medical problems but we are getting a leg up on things and are finally getting the shop back in order. We did have some issues with the computers but our good buddy Fritz came out and helped get the computers working properly.
